OUR HISTORY

Medcalf’s is a family run business of wholesale butchers & farmers with over 50 years of business behind us.

We were started in 1964 by 2 brothers Jack and Eric Medcalf who farmed dairy cattle on Wyke Lane, Bradford and then took over an abbatoir in Brighouse. Jack and Eric were succeeded by their sons John & Gerald and now their children Richard, Johnny, Claire, Rachael, Elizabeth and Robert are found running the family business.

A brand new, purpose built abattoir facility is being built with the 4th generation starting to come in.
